It’s time for our deals/suggestions/[great discovery] of the weekend. Today we are going for some smart stuff that you will love. Let’s start it right away 😉
1) Rocketbook Wave Smart Notebook – $25.00 ($2.00 OFF)
A smart notebook? What? … well… it’s the first question mark in our head as well but … it’s a really great stuff after you take a look at the following video,
There are couple of products that can do similar things (like Lenovo Yoga Book) but this one is sort of solving the pain points of note taking tasks a bit further. It’s like the IFTTT stuff (take a look at ifttt.com if you don’t know what this means) which gives you one step further convenience to get things done. Just link which cloud storages you’d like to store your notes organized by types then crossing the icon(s) on the note then take a photo… it’s done. The fun part is that … you use microwave to erase your notes 😉
Smart thermostat is not new but it’s usually costly. This one is sort of affordable in a way if you want to get into the smart thermostat territory. It’s not fancy … but … you can tell Alexa to control it for sure.
3) Honeywell RCHT8610WF2006 Lyric T5 Wi-Fi Smart 7 Day Programmable Touchscreen Thermostat with Geofencing, Works with Amazon Alexa – $107.99
If you wanna have a fancy and affordable (cost a bit more than our #2 recommendation item today) smart thermostat, this one is your guy. Not only it’s stylish but also it’s cheaper than others you can find on the market. It’s, at least, $20 to $100 cheaper than other brands (such as Nest).
4) Wemo Mini Smart Plug, Wi-Fi Enabled, Works with Amazon Alexa – $29.99 ($5.00 OFF)
We know we are back to smart plugs again but … if you wanna talk about IoT stuff, this one just cannot be skipped, at least, for now. It’s just so simple but powerful and smart that you can apply to almost any appliances you would like to control. It’s a simple on/off idea applied to an on/off switch and producing so many possibilities that make us smile 😉
5) Samsung SmartThings Smart Home Hub – $49.99 ($50.00 OFF)
Do you know quite a few IoT products need to have a hub (brain) to make them work? For instance, the smart lighting systems such as Sengled Element smart bulbs or Philips Hue Smart Bulbs). Yes, you can buy the bulbs together with a hub but the hub included in the starter kit only works for that specific brand smart bulbs. How about if you would like to try other brands? or … if you have other IoT products you’d like to have Alexa to control them? Like the Alexa power on/off and control TV settings we talked about couple of days ago, if you don’t have newer smart TVs, you will need a hub (having the IR blaster or just a IR blaster device) to make it work.
The samsung smart home hub is getting a 50% discount this weekend... it’s a great deal to get. Some of the deals just last a short period of time (like the Sengled Element Plus Smart Home Lighting Starter Kit… it had more than 50% discount during the Labor day weekend sale for only $29.99… now the price is back to over 50 bucks and won’t drop down again maybe until this year’s Black Friday sale). Get great deals before it’s too late.
